About Private excursion to Lowland Villages (Duration 4 Hours)

Excursion by SUV to the villages of Riza, along the eastern side of the great massif of Zakynthos, Mount Brachiona. A route on faint paths and with a nice view of the plain. Along Riza, we pass the main architectural and cultural points in Lagadakia, Bougiato, Melinado and Machairado. The road that connects Kallithea with Lagopodo offers a nice view of eastern Zakynthos. We will also visit local Wineries and Olive Mills, where you will be able to taste and buy pure local products.

What you can see on this route, as well as in the surrounding area, is the church of Agios Nikolaos with its stone bell tower and the Helmi Museum of Natural History, as well as the church of Agia Marina with its bell tower, excellent examples of Zakynthos architecture. Visit the Folklore Museum of Vertzageio in Pigadakia, where you can get to know what rural life was like on the island in the 19th century.

Pick up from your accommodation is at 10:00.
At 14:00 you will have returned to your accommodation.
You can also choose the afternoon excursion at 15:00, or the evening excursion at 20:00.
