A perfect choice if you want to explore the remote parts of Zakynthos with a bunch of other people…
We will pick you up from your hotels (time depends on your resort) and our first stop is at the small traditional winery Grampsas near to the village Lagopodo. We visit the winery and taste some local wine!
The next stop is in the small village Killiomeno, where you can admire its Venetian 19th century bell tower and enjoy coffee or purchase traditional local products midst that unique atmosphere of the village.
Driving mostly off road and passing the old monastery Yperagathos and the beautiful small traditional villages Louha and Gyri, we will reach the highest point of the island, on mountain Vrachionas. The view from there is breathtaking! So of course we stop for 15 minutes to enjoy and take some photos.
Around 12.00 we are in Kampi, a unique place for lunch with a relaxing view to the sea and the cliffs of the Western coastline in a restaurant with traditional Greek food. We stay there for lunch for one hour.
Driving off the beaten track, through the small hidden roads we pass the monastery of Saint George and we reach the viewing platform of our worldwide known beach – the Shipwreck beach. You have the possibility to take a photo of the most photographed and famous beach in Greece and admire the unbelievably blue color of its waters.
Later we continue, driving off road through the small traditional villages in the Northern part of the island, to our last stop, Makris Gialos beach. There you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the northeastern coastline or sit in a taverna and enjoy the view with a coffee or ouzo. You have also the opportunity to book a short boat trip to the Blue Caves (this is at extra charge and depends on the weather conditions).
Around 4.30 in the afternoon our drivers will bring you back to your resorts.
